A popular annual event is "Westside Daze" which celebrates the official start of the renowned Okanagan summer. This 3 day event held from June 29th to July 1st features pancake breakfasts, barbeques, car show, free outdoor concerts, fair and winds up with a Canada Day parade to commemorate our Country's birthday. Downhill skiers enjoy Crystal Mountain Ski Resort with 21 runs and 470 acres of trails for skiers and snowboarders, along with snow-shoeing. Nearby Telemark Cross Country Ski Club is another popular destination offering over 50 kilometers of trails groomed for both classic and skate skiing plus a biathlon range and snow shoe trails.
